Fisherman’s Wharf Market

Created in Revit and rendered with Twinmotion

The Fisherman’s Wharf Market is a study on boundaries and experiential engagement. The market is located in the northeast waterfront of San Francisco, and provides direct access for fishing vessels to dock and bring their fresh catch directly into an open air market along a prominent streetfront. The market blurs the line between the streetfront and the waterfront, and provide an active and energetic experience for market goers. The on site structure serves as an information center for tourists, and has storage and office space for the market operations. The facade of the building is composed of glazing and gabion baskets filled with material found locally. The gabion has a porous effect, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor.
